This interior design project for a four-bedroom, 1400 sq ft home located in Jaipur has been conceptualised by Flamingo Architects, a team of architects in Jaipur. They have done an excellent job of translating the client’s vision into reality through this incredibly stylish and modern home. Light hues, wood décor and minimalist design make the home a dream residence. The project was completed in one month and within a budget of INR 25 lakhs. Let’s begin our tour to explore the details!

Chevron and wood

The beautiful bedroom is our first stop, and we see how the stylish wooden flooring is skillfully put together in a chevron pattern, without any bumps or uneven surfaces. We can also see that every piece of furniture serves a purpose. The natural tones bring a distinctly Scandinavian feel to the room.

Minimalism and shapes

The minimalist décor style doesn’t necessitate an absence of accessories and accents, but it does mean that more thought and consideration goes into placing elements in the right spot. A great example is the marble-topped iron bedside table, which is functional and elegant.

A pop of colour

Modern minimalist doesn’t mean a lack of colour. Here, we see an apparent influence from the Mediterranean school of thought with the use of different shades, such as teal and azure. Our favourite furniture piece is the suede and wood bench table placed at the foot of the bed, simply because of its sleek elegance.

A stylish living room

In the living room, the centre table has a unique two-tier design. On one side of the seating is an arched space that has been converted into a shelf. The gorgeous blue-green used on the wall creates a stunning feature by highlighting the shelf.

A cosy nook

Here, we see a separate space that is perfect for relaxation. It sits in a corner and has a comfortable armchair and a curved sofa, along with a coffee table. Located right by the French window, this quiet space is what everyone desires for unwinding at the end of the day.

The dining space

Just like the rest of the home, the dining area is filled with pleasing natural tones. The non-traditional wooden table and the accompanying chairs upholstered in grey suede are distinctly Scandinavian. Add to that the emerald green wall with a sculptural tree and a few gold accents, and we see a near-perfect room that is dreamy and elegant.

The perfect kitchen

The kitchen is an oasis of calm with its stark white and sophisticated grey cabinets. The all-white laminates and countertop create a clean and bright setting for cooking, and it is filled with all the necessary amenities one expects from a modern kitchen. The open layout uses the kitchen counter as a separator.

Minimalist perfection

The bedroom is designed to perfection and suits the minimalist style. The four-poster bed is upholstered in grey with white sheers creating a dreamy ambience. The room is sparsely decorated, but each element is chosen carefully so that the overall look is one of understated elegance.
